March 1, 2023 10:15 amHello,
I have applied for SIN on February 28 and I was told by the agent that my application needs further attention by the head office.
Thus, may I know my application status and how long will it take to be mailed.
Thank you

August 5, 2023 9:59 pmHi Avinash,
You need to submit a valid and original Primary identity document. You may find the list of acceptable documents on Canada.ca website. https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/sin/required-documents.html
Photocopies are not acceptable, it must be original. If you have missed any of the documents, you must replace it with the appropriate issuing agency or department.
Meanwhile, if you already have a SIN, you can just find it through T4, Notice of Assessment, etc.
