You need to tell the CRA your new address if you move.
Your benefit and credit payments may stop if you do not. This is the case even if you use direct deposit and your bank account does not change.
The CRA will not share your change of address with other government departments. You need to contact each government department or agency to give them your new address (e.g. Service Canada Employment Insurance office, IRCC, etc). See Change your address with a different department or agency

- Complete Form RC325, Address Change Request
- Mail the completed form to the address on the form
Change an address by mail for someone else
You may also change the address of another individual at the same time, such as your spouse or common-law partner. Include a signed letter with your form that contains the individual’s:
- name
- social insurance number
- signature
